When you check out of your shopping cart you are requried to acknowledge reading our shipping information.
Specifically:
The shipping method you select does not automatically mean the item is in stock, it is the method we will ship by when we have the product available. So items in stock are shipped with 3 day and sometimes 2 day delivery, and items that are backordered will also ship with 3 day and sometimes 2 day delivery - when we get them.
You should see a similar information at the bottom of your email order confirmation underneath your order details.
You can change your shipping method if your item is backordered to a less expensive choice, or as long as we have not shipped you can cancel. If you cancel most refunds are processed within 24 hours and if you change shipping method we credit your account when the product ships.
